Pfc. Brian Patrick Odiorne, 21, of Ware, Massachusetts, was a soldier with the 82nd Field Artillery Regiment. He was killed in action on February 20, 2017, in Habbaniyah, Al Anbar Province, Iraq.

Senior Chief Petty Officer William Ryan Owens, 36, of Edelstein, Illinois, was a U.S. Navy SEAL assigned to Tactical Development Squadron THREE. He was killed during a raid in Yemen on January 29, 2017.

U.S. Army Sergeant John Phillips Rodriguez, 23, of Hemet, California, was killed in action on January 12, 2017, at Shuaiha Port, Kuwait, while serving with Company A, 2nd Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Allan Eric Brown, 46, of Takoma Park, Maryland, died on December 6, 2016, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He was a soldier assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainmen

Senior Chief Petty Officer Scott Cooper Dayton, 42, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician. He was killed by an improvised explosive device in Kobani, Syria, on November 24, 2016.

U.S. Army Private First Class Tyler Ray Iubelt, 20, of Tamaroa, Illinois, was killed in a suicide bombing at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, on November 12, 2016.

U.S. Army Major Andrew David Byers, 30, of Rolesville, North Carolina, was a Special Forces officer assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group. He died in Kunduz, Afghanistan, on November 3, 2016, from wounds sustained in combat.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Ryan Allen Gloyer, 34, of Greenville, Pennsylvania, died on November 3, 2016, in Kunduz, Afghanistan, from wounds sustained in a firefight.
