David Charles Knadle, 33, was a Chief Warrant Officer 2 from North Richland Hills, Texas, serving with Company B, 1st Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment. He was killed in action on November 20, 2019, in Charkh District, Afghanistan.

Kirk Takeshi Fuchigami Jr., 25, was a Chief Warrant Officer 2 from Keaau, Hawaii, serving with the U.S. Army's 1st Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment. He was killed in action in Charkh District, Afghanistan, on November 20, 2019.

U.S. Army Sergeant Nathaneil George Irish, 23, of Billings, Montana, was killed in action on October 28, 2019, at Camp Taji, Iraq.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Jeremy Wayne Griffin, 40, of Greenbrier, Tennessee, was killed in a small arms fire engagement in Gichkil Village, Afghanistan, on September 16, 2019.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Elis Angel Barreto Ortiz, 34, of Morovis, Puerto Rico, died in Kabul, Afghanistan, on September 5, 2019, during Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Dustin Bruce Ard, 31, of Hyde Park, Utah, was killed in action on August 29, 2019, in Bagram, Afghanistan, while serving with the 1st Special Forces Group.

U.S. Army Master Sergeant Luis Felipe Deleon-Figueroa, 31, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, was killed in action in Qara Ghoqli Village, Afghanistan, on August 21, 2019.

U.S. Army Master Sergeant Jose Juan Gonzalez, 35, of La Puente, California, was killed on August 21, 2019, in Qara Ghoqli Village, Afghanistan, during Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

U.S. Army Specialist Clayton James Horne, 23, of Atlanta, Louisiana, was killed in action on August 17, 2019, in Eskan Village, Saudi Arabia.

Gunnery Sergeant Scott Aaron Koppenhafer, 35, of Mancos, Colorado, was a U.S. Marine with 2nd Marine Raider Battalion. He was killed in Mosul, Iraq, on August 10, 2019, during Operation Inherent Resolve.

U.S. Army Private First Class Brandon Jay Kreischer, 20, of Bryan, Ohio, was killed in a hostile incident in Shah-Dali Kot, Afghanistan, on July 29, 2019.

U.S. Army Specialist Michael Isaiah Nance, 24, of Chicago, Illinois, died on July 29, 2019, in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan, from hostile action while serving with the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment.

Staff Sergeant William Edward Friese, 30, of Rockport, West Virginia, died on July 18, 2019, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, while deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

Petty Officer Second Class Slayton Richard Saldana, 24, of Manassas, Virginia, was a U.S. Navy sailor who died on July 17, 2019, in Afghanistan while serving with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Five.
