Master Sergeant Joshua Lloyd Wheeler, 39, of Roland, Oklahoma, was a U.S. Army soldier serving with U.S. Army Special Operations Command. He was killed during a hostage rescue mission in Hawijah, Iraq, on October 22, 2015.

U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Gregory Thomas Kuhse, 38, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was killed in action in Kabul, Afghanistan, on October 11, 2015.

Major Phyllis Joy Pelky, 45, was a United States Air Force officer assigned to the Air Force Academy. She died in a non-combat vehicle incident in Kabul, Afghanistan, on October 11, 2015.

Senior Airman Quinn Lamar Johnsonharris, 21, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was a U.S. Air Force airman assigned to the 39th Airlift Squadron. He was killed in action on October 2, 2015, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

U.S. Air Force Captain Jordan Bradford Pierson, 28, was a C-130J pilot from Mount Pleasant, Texas. He was killed in action on October 2, 2015, during a Taliban assault on Jalalabad Airfield in Afghanistan.

Senior Airman Kcey Elena Ruiz, 21, of McDonough, Georgia, was a U.S. Air Force security forces airman. She was killed in action on October 2, 2015, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

Senior Airman Nathan Cole Sartain, 29, of Pensacola, Florida, was a U.S. Air Force Security Forces airman assigned to the 66th Security Forces Squadron. He was killed in action on October 2, 2015, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Ryan David Hammond, 26, of Moundsville, West Virginia, was killed in action in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, on October 2, 2015.

Philip Frazier Manes, 21, was a Seaman in the U.S. Navy assigned to the USS Gladiator (MCM 11). He died in Manama, Bahrain, on September 27, 2015.

U.S. Army Specialist Kyle Eugene Gilbert, 24, of Buford, Georgia, died on September 21, 2015, in Bagram, Afghanistan, while serving with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division.

U.S. Air Force Captain Matthew David Roland, 27, was a Special Tactics Officer assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron. He was killed in a hostile incident at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, on August 26, 2015.

U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Forrest Brent Sibley, 31, of Pensacola, Florida, was killed by hostile fire on August 26, 2015, at Camp Antonik in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

First Sergeant Peter Andrew Mckenna Jr., 35, was a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier from Bristol, Rhode Island. He was killed in a hostile attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, on August 8, 2015.

Senior Chief Petty Officer Jason Phillip May, 37, of Chesterfield Township, Michigan, was a U.S. Navy sailor assigned to the USS Essex (LHD 2). He was killed in action in Iraq and Syria on June 29, 2015.

Private First Class Monterrious Travelle Daniel, 19, of Griffin, Georgia, was a U.S. Army soldier who died on June 12, 2015, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait.

Master Sergeant Pablo Allende Ruiz III, 37, of Melbourne, Florida, was a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier. He was killed in action on May 24, 2015, at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

Petty Officer Second Class Ryan Daniel Burris, 23, of Lisle, Illinois, was a U.S. Navy sailor with Mobile Communications Team One. He was killed in action on May 21, 2015, at Zayed Military City in the United Arab Emirates.

Petty Officer Third Class Devon J. Doyle, 21, of Alamosa, Colorado, was a U.S. Navy sailor assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99). He died on May 16, 2015, in Manama, Bahrain.
