Chief Warrant Officer Travis Ryan Tamayo, 32, of Brownsville, Texas, was a U.S. Army intelligence officer. He was killed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on September 16, 2016, while serving in Operation Inherent Resolve.

Chief Petty Officer Jason Christopher Finan, 34, of Lake Forest, California, was a U.S. Navy sailor assigned to a Naval Special Warfare unit. He died in Erbil, Iraq, on October 20, 2016, from wounds sustained in a hostile incident.

SFC Matthew Charles Lewellen, 27, of Lawrence, Kansas, was a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group. He died in Amman, Jordan on November 4, 2016, from hostile action.

U.S. Army Specialist Ronald Leon Murray Jr., 23, of Bowie, Maryland, died on November 10, 2016, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, while deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

Senior Chief Petty Officer Scott Cooper Dayton, 42, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician. He was killed by an improvised explosive device in Kobani, Syria, on November 24, 2016.

U.S. Army Specialist Isiah Lebaron Booker, 23, of Cibolo, Texas, was killed in action in Iraq and Syria on January 7, 2017, while serving with Company E, 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group.

Pfc. Brian Patrick Odiorne, 21, of Ware, Massachusetts, was a soldier with the 82nd Field Artillery Regiment. He was killed in action on February 20, 2017, in Habbaniyah, Al Anbar Province, Iraq.

Staff Sgt. Alexandria Mae Morrow, 25, of Dansville, New York, was an aircraft maintainer with the U.S. Air Force's 366th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. She died in Amman, Jordan, on March 22, 2017.
