U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Omar Aceves, 30, of El Paso, Texas, was killed in a hostile incident on January 12, 2011, in Gelan, Ghazni Province, Afghanistan.

PFC Salmon, Zachary Steven Richard, 21, a native of CINCINNATI, OH, died serving in the Active Duty, ARMY, TROOP A, 1ST SQUADRON, 32D CAVALRY REGIMENT, 1 BCT, FORT CAMPBELL, KY, during Operation Enduring Freedom on January 12, 2011. Cause: HOSTILE.

Jarrid Lee King, a 20-year-old U.S. Army Corporal from Erie, Pennsylvania, was killed in a hostile incident in Spine Ghundey, Ghelan, on January 12, 2011.
