U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Louis Michael Bonacasa, 31, of Coram, New York, was killed on December 21, 2015, in a suicide bombing near Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

Staff Sgt. Michael Anthony Cinco, 28, of Mercedes, Texas, was an active-duty U.S. Air Force investigator killed in a suicide bombing in Bajawri village, Afghanistan, on December 21, 2015.

U.S. Army Private Christopher Jonathon Castaneda, 19, of Fripp Island, South Carolina, was killed in action on November 19, 2015, at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq.

Master Sergeant Joshua Lloyd Wheeler, 39, of Roland, Oklahoma, was a U.S. Army soldier serving with U.S. Army Special Operations Command. He was killed during a hostage rescue mission in Hawijah, Iraq, on October 22, 2015.

U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Gregory Thomas Kuhse, 38, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was killed in action in Kabul, Afghanistan, on October 11, 2015.

Major Phyllis Joy Pelky, 45, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, was a United States Air Force officer assigned to the Air Force Academy. She was killed in Kabul, Afghanistan, on October 11, 2015.

Senior Airman Quinn Lamar Johnsonharris, 21, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was a U.S. Air Force airman assigned to the 39th Airlift Squadron. He was killed in action on October 2, 2015, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

U.S. Air Force Captain Jordan Bradford Pierson, 28, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, was killed in action on October 2, 2015, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, while serving with the 39th Airlift Squadron.

Senior Airman Kcey Elena Ruiz, 21, of McDonough, Georgia, was a U.S. Air Force security forces airman. She was killed in action on October 2, 2015, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

Senior Airman Nathan Cole Sartain, 29, of Pensacola, Florida, was a U.S. Air Force Security Forces airman assigned to the 66th Security Forces Squadron. He was killed in action on October 2, 2015, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
