U.S. Army Sergeant Jason Mitchell McClary, 24, of Export, Pennsylvania, died on December 2, 2018, at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany from wounds sustained in Afghanistan.

Vice Admiral Scott Andrew Stearney, 58, of Chicago, Illinois, was a U.S. Navy officer serving as commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command. He was found dead in his residence in Hamala, Bahrain, on December 1, 2018.
