Staff Sergeant Shane Stanley Barnard, 38, of San Antonio, Texas, was a U.S. Army explosive ordnance disposal specialist. He died from wounds sustained in a hostile incident at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan, on May 19, 2010.

From WEST CALDWELL, NJ, COL Mchugh, John Michael served with the ARMY, US ARMY BTL CMD TNG PROGRAM, COMBINED ARMED CENTER, FT LEAVENWORTH KS, and died on May 18, 2010 in DARULAMAN, KABUL. He was 46. Cause: HOSTILE.

Lance Corporal Philip P. Clark, 19, of Gainesville, Florida, was a U.S. Marine killed in a hostile incident at Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan, on May 18, 2010.

U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Paul Robert Bartz, 43, of Waterloo, Wisconsin, died on May 18, 2010, in Darulaman, Kabul, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Patrick Belkofer, 44, of Perrysburg, Ohio, was killed on May 18, 2010, in a suicide vehicle bomb attack on a NATO convoy in Darulaman, Kabul, Afghanistan.

U.S. Army Private Billy Gene Anderson, 20, of Alexandria, Tennessee, was killed in a hostile incident at Forward Operating Base Todd, Afghanistan, on May 17, 2010.

From ANTELOPE, CA, SSGT Perkins, Adam Levi served with the MARINE CORPS, EOD, 7TH ENGRSPT BN, (I MEF FWD) 1ST MLG, CAMP PENDLETON, CA, and died on May 17, 2010 in IVO FOB EDINBURGH, AFGHANISTAN. He was 27. Cause: HOSTILE.
