Father Pierre al-Rahi was the Maronite Catholic parish priest of Qlayaa, a Christian village of about 8,000 inhabitants in southern Lebanon's Marjayoun district. He was killed on 9 March 2026 when he rushed to help the wounded occupants of a house that had been struck twice by an Israeli Merkava tank. He had refused Israeli evacuation orders the day before, telling France24 he would remain to defend his village peacefully.

Elna Abdullah Hussein Nia, 11, was an Iranian girl living in Kuwait with her family. She was killed in her sleep on 4 March 2026 when shrapnel from an Iranian drone struck the roof of her second-floor apartment in Kuwait City, piercing directly into her room. Her younger sister, sleeping beside her, sustained minor injuries. Her mother was unharmed.

Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, was a US Army Reserve senior non-commissioned officer. She was killed on March 1, 2026, in an Iranian drone strike on a US facility at Kuwait's Port of Shuaiba.

Yahya Sinwar was the political and military leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. He was killed in Rafah, Gaza, on October 16, 2024, during an Israeli military operation.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was the Secretary-General of Hezbollah from 1992 until his death. He was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Dahieh suburb of south Beirut, Lebanon, on September 27, 2024.
