On March 14, 2010, the MARINE CORPS lost CPL Porto, Jonathan Daniel of LARGO, FL in HELMAND PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN. He was 26.

PFC Mclyman, Erin Leigh, 26, a native of FEDERAL WAY, WA, died serving in the Active Duty, ARMY, COMPANY B, 296TH BRIGADE SUPPORT BN, 3D STRYKER BCT, 2 ID, FORT LEWIS, WA, during Operation Iraqi Freedom on March 13, 2010. Cause: HOSTILE.

On March 13, 2010, the ARMY lost CPL Bishop, Steven Jesse of CHRISTIANSBURG, VA in TIKRIT, IRAQ. He was 29.

SFC Whetten, Glen Jacob, age 31, of MESA, AZ ? Active Duty, ARMY, 1ST BRIGADE, 1ST INFANTRY DIVISION, AFGHANISTAN TEAM, FORT RILEY, KS, ? died on March 12, 2010 in HIGHWAY 1, AFGHANISTAN. Cause: HOSTILE.

Lance Cpl. Garrett William Gamble, 20, of Sugarland, Texas, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on March 11, 2010.

U.S. Army Private First Class Jason Michael Kropat, 25, of White Lake, New York, died on March 9, 2010, at Combat Outpost Chergataw, Afghanistan.

SGT Richardson, Jonathan Jerome, age 24, of BALD KNOB, AR ? Active Duty, ARMY, COMPANY C, 1ST BATTALION, 187TH INFANTRY, 3 BCT, FORT CAMPBELL, KY, ? died on March 9, 2010 in FOB SALERNO, AFGHANISTAN. Cause: HOSTILE.

Private First Class Nicholas Scott Cook, 19, of Hungry Horse, Montana, was a U.S. Army infantryman assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team. He was killed in action on March 7, 2010, in Dab Sar, Konar Province, Afghanistan.

LCPL Olsen, Nigel Kenton, age 21, of OREM, UT ? Reserve, MARINE CORPS, C CO, 4TH LAR BN, (MEB-A FWD) 4TH MAR DIV, RIVERTON, UT, ? died on March 4, 2010 in HELMAND PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN. Cause: HOSTILE.

Lance Cpl. Carlos Alberto Aragon, 19, of Orem, Utah, was a U.S. Marine Corps reservist. He was killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on March 1, 2010.
