Captain Brandon Ryan Dronet, 33, of Erath, Louisiana, was a U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion pilot assigned to HMH-464. He was killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan on February 17, 2006.

Staff Sgt. Luis Manuel Melendez-Sanchez, 33, of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, was an airman assigned to the 1st Communications Squadron, Langley AFB, Virginia. He was killed in action in Afghanistan on February 17, 2006.

Lance Cpl. Samuel Wayne Large Jr., 21, of Villa Rica, Georgia, was a U.S. Marine killed in action on February 17, 2006, in Afghanistan.

On February 17, 2006, the ARMY lost MAJ Garcia, Anthony Ricardo of FORT WORTH, TX in TIKRIT, IRAQ. He was 48.

BATTERY B, 1ST BN, 118TH FIELD ARTILLERY, SAVANNAH, GA, ARMY ? SFC Edwards, Amos Collins Jr (SAVANNAH, GA), age 41, ? died in RUTBAH, IRAQ on February 17, 2006.

Sgt. Donnie Leo Ford Levens, 25, of Long Beach, Mississippi, was a U.S. Marine assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 464. He was killed in a helicopter crash in eastern Afghanistan on February 17, 2006.

Sgt. James Floyd Fordyce, 22, of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, was a U.S. Marine with HMH-464. He was killed in action in Afghanistan on February 17, 2006.

Lance Cpl. Nicholas Joseph Sovie, 20, of Ogdensburg, New York, served as a CH-53E crew chief with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 464 during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Corporal Matthieu Marcellus, 31, of Gainesville, Florida, was a United States Marine killed in action on February 17, 2006, in Afghanistan.

CAPT Willard, Bryan Douglas, 33, a native of HUMMELSTOWN, PA, died serving in the Active Duty, MARINE CORPS, HMH-464, MAG-29, 2D MAW, MCAS NEW RIVER, JACKSONVILLE, NC, during Operation Enduring Freedom on February 17, 2006.

Senior Airman Alecia Sabrina Good, 23, of Broadview Heights, Ohio, served with the U.S. Air Force's 92d Communications Squadron. She was killed in action in Afghanistan on February 17, 2006.

Sgt. Jonathan Eric Mccolley, 23, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, was a U.S. Marine killed in action on February 17, 2006, in Afghanistan.

On February 14, 2006, the MARINE CORPS lost LCPL Barnes, Matthew Ryan of WEST MONROE, LA in AL QAIM, IRAQ. He was 20. Cause: HOSTILE.

Corporal Rusty Lee Washam, a 21-year-old U.S. Marine from Huntsville, Tennessee, was killed in hostile action on February 14, 2006, in Al Qaim, Iraq.
