Michael Curtis Olivieri was a 26-year-old soldier from Chicago, Illinois. He served as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, based out of Fort Riley, Kansas.
