Abnur Book 1 Complete Hausa Novel
Read Abnur Book 1 Complete Hausa Novel, an emotional Hausa romantic story filled with mystery, love, escape, village life, family secrets, and destiny.
The bright moonlight spreading across the village gave her just enough vision to see where she was placing her feet. She was not in her right senses at all. She simply kept walking without knowing where she was heading.
She wiped away the tears that kept falling endlessly from her eyes. She truly wished everything was only a dream. Still, she continued walking through a village whose name she did not even know. All she wanted was to get far away from where she came from.
When she reached the front of a house, she stopped because she felt she could no longer continue walking. She was completely exhausted. She had not eaten since breakfast, and even then, she had barely eaten anything. Judging from the silence of the village and the darkness of the night, she guessed it was around 11:00 PM.
Noor’s Lonely Night
She found a place to sit on the small raised platform in front of the house. She lowered her head and continued crying until it felt as if her heart no longer belonged inside her body.
She did not know how long she had been sitting there. All she knew was that her eyes slowly became heavy, and sleep began to overcome her.
She leaned weakly on the platform while her heart continued aching. She did not want to remember what had forced her to leave home. While still trapped in those thoughts, sleep finally captured her, even though it was not a peaceful sleep.
The Morning Discovery
The coldness of dawn and the calls to prayer from the village mosques made her slowly open her swollen red eyes. They were badly affected by the long hours of crying.
She sat up quietly on the platform, feeling pain all over her body. She looked around the village, trying to understand where she was.
Holding her aching head, she leaned against the wall as fresh warm tears rolled down her cheeks again.
Suddenly, she raised her hand quickly to cover her face from the bright light shining directly on her.
“Subhanallahi! Are you human or a spirit?”
The frightened man asked from the doorway of the house.
She could not say anything. Her tears only flowed harder.
Kamal Finds Her
The man quickly turned back into the house and soon returned with a young man who seemed ready to go for the dawn prayer.
“I swear, I’m scared. Look at her there,” the old man said while pointing at her.
The young man moved closer but stopped at a small distance.
“Servant of Allah,” he called gently.
She slowly raised her head and looked at him while tears continued pouring from her eyes.
After staring at her for a while, he turned to his father and said:
“Baba, maybe she should enter the house before we return from the mosque. Prayer time is almost passing.”
His father gave him a doubtful look and replied:
“Enter where? Do you even know who she is?”
Kamal looked at her again before walking away with his father toward the mosque.
A Kind Family
After the prayer, when daylight had begun to spread, they returned home and found her still sitting exactly where they had left her.
Baba looked at Kamal and said:
“Are you sure this girl is even human?”
Kamal smiled and replied:
“Let’s go closer and find out.”
He crouched near her and called again:
“Servant of Allah.”
This time, she slowly raised her head.
He smiled gently and asked:
“What happened to you? Why are you sitting here? It looks like you spent the night here. Tell me if there is any help I can offer you.”
Still, she remained silent.
After thinking for a moment, Kamal said:
“Stand up and come inside. You need to pray. I know you haven’t prayed yet.”
She only stared at him like a statue.
He repeated his words again before she finally stood up slowly, dizziness nearly bringing her down.

Noor Enters the House
Kamal observed her carefully. She did not look like a village girl at all, especially from the kind of clothing she wore.
He wondered what could have brought someone like her into such a village in that condition.
When they entered the house, she stopped in the entrance corridor and looked around silently.
Kamal informed his father that he had brought her inside so she could pray.
His father warned him that people could be dangerous these days, but Kamal calmly replied:
“Don’t worry, Baba. I don’t feel she is harmful. We are helping her for Allah’s sake with good intentions. If she intends harm, Allah will not allow it.”
Kamal later took her to his mother’s room.
His mother welcomed her kindly and asked:
“Kamal, where did you find this girl?”
Kamal explained that they found her outside the house and that she likely slept there overnight.
His mother looked at the stranger with concern and said:
“Let her pray first. After breakfast, we will ask where she came from. She does not look like someone from this village.”
Abuja, Nigeria, Abnur Book 1
Meanwhile, in Abuja, a man rushed down the staircase in panic, taking several steps at once. His mind was badly disturbed as he repeatedly dialed a number on his phone.
One of his security men hurried toward him and greeted:
“Morning, sir.”
The look he gave the guard immediately frightened him.
“Sorry, sir,” the guard quickly added.
The man turned fully toward him and asked sharply:
“Where is she?”
The guard replied fearfully:
“Sorry sir, we have tried our best, but we still have not been able to reach her.”
The man grabbed him by the collar angrily.
“What do you mean you haven’t found her? Where would she go? She has no one but me.”
He pushed him away and continued:
“I’m giving you one hour. Find Noor wherever she is in Abuja and bring her back to this house.”
The guard apologized again, but the man cut him off furiously:
“Don’t you dare. Keep your sorry to yourself. Just make sure you return with Noor.”
Then he turned angrily, entered his car, and drove out of the house at high speed.
