Bruce Andrew Macfarlane, a 46-year-old U.S. Army Reserve captain from Oviedo, Florida, was killed in action in Kandahar, Afghanistan, on July 6, 2012.

Staff Sergeant Raul Madrigal Guerra, 37, of Union City, New Jersey, was a U.S. Army intelligence analyst. He was killed in action in Kandahar, Afghanistan, on July 4, 2012.

U.S. Army Specialist Cody Otho Moosman, 24, of Preston, Idaho, was killed in a hostile incident in Orgun-e, Afghanistan, on July 3, 2012.

U.S. Army First Lieutenant Stephen Chase Prasnicki, 24, of Lexington, Virginia, was killed in Logar province, Afghanistan, on June 27, 2012.

In LOGAR PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN on June 27, 2012, the ARMY lost SGT Skalberg, James Lyn Jr of CULLMAN, AL, 25, serving with BATTERY B, 4TH BATTALION, 1ST FIELD ARTILLERY REGIMENT, 3 BCT, FORT BLISS, TX. Cause: HOSTILE.

Staff Sgt. Matthew John Leach, 29, of Ferndale, Michigan, was a U.S. Army soldier killed in action on June 26, 2012, in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

On June 24, 2012, the ARMY lost SGT Strachota, Michael Joseph of WHITE HALL, AR in KANDAHAR CITY, AFGHANISTAN. He was 28.

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Robert Anthony Massarelli, 32, of Hamilton, Ohio, was killed in action on June 24, 2012, in Kandahar City, Afghanistan, while serving with the 96th Transportation Company.

Lance Corporal Niall William Cotisears, a 23-year-old U.S. Marine from Arlington, Virginia, was killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on June 23, 2012.

Lance Cpl. Hunter Dalton Hogan, 21, of Norman, Indiana, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on June 23, 2012.

Lance Cpl. Eugene Clifton Mills III, 21, of Laurel, Maryland, was a U.S. Marine killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on June 22, 2012.

On June 22, 2012, the ARMY lost MAJ Voelke, Paul Clarke of MONROE, NY in MAZAR E. SHARIF, AFGHANISTAN. He was 36.

Active Duty, MARINE CORPS, 1ST CEB, (I MEF FWD), 1ST MAR DIV, CAMP PENDLETON, CA, LCPL Stevens, Steven Prince Ii of TALLAHASSEE, FL, 23, died in HELMAND PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN on June 22, 2012. Cause: HOSTILE.

U.S. Army Sergeant John David Meador II, 36, of Columbia, South Carolina, died on June 20, 2012, in Khost, Afghanistan, from hostile action while serving with the 133rd Military Police Company.
