U.S. Army Master Sergeant James Williams Ponder III, 36, of Franklin, Tennessee, was killed in a helicopter crash during a combat search and rescue mission near Asadabad, Afghanistan, on June 28, 2005.

Senior Chief Petty Officer Daniel Richard Healy, 36, of Exeter, New Hampshire, was a U.S. Navy SEAL assigned to SDV Team One. He was killed in a helicopter crash in Asadabad, Afghanistan, on June 28, 2005.

Chief Petty Officer Jacques Jules Fontan, a 36-year-old U.S. Navy SEAL from New Orleans, Louisiana, was killed in a hostile incident in Asadabad, Afghanistan, on June 28, 2005.

U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Marcus Vinicio Muralles, 33, of Shelbyville, Indiana, was killed in a helicopter crash in Asadabad, Afghanistan, on June 28, 2005, during Operation Enduring Freedom.
