Active Duty, NAVY, USS PAUL HAMILTON (DDG-60), LCDR Robinson, Thomas Lewis of KINGSTON, MA, 38, died in Afghanistan, Philippines, Horn of Africa on October 23, 2002.

Active Duty, NAVY, NAVAL MEDICAL CLINIC, QUANTICO, VA, ENS Pope, Jerry Oreall Ii of TALLAHASSEE, FL, 35, died in SANA, YEMEN on October 17, 2002.

James Henry Ebbers was a 19-year-old U.S. Army Private from Tinley Park, Illinois. He was killed in action on October 14, 2002, at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti.

Technical Sergeant Sean Mitchell Corlew, 37, of Thousand Oaks, California, was a U.S. Air Force special operations airman. He was killed in action on June 12, 2002, in a helicopter crash approximately 35 miles east of Gardez, Afghanistan.
