Ustaziyya Ko Yar Duniya Book 1 Complete Hausa Novel
He grabbed her by the hair and slammed her head against the bathroom wall for the second time. Screaming in agony in a weak, pained voice, hot tears streamed down her face.
“You filthy, useless, good-for-nothing girl! You remnant of street boys! What did I tell you before I left this house?” AK barked furiously. Grabbing her face by the chin, he squeezed her mouth tightly, then violently shoved her out of the bathroom. She stumbled and struck her head against the dressing mirror chair, causing blood to instantly start pouring from her head.
Unable to bear the sharp, excruciating pain radiating right into her brain, she burst into loud sobs. Dropping to her knees, she rubbed her hands together frantically in plea. “For God’s sake, AK, please have mercy on me! I beg of you, I submit to Allah and to you, my husband, please forgive me!”
He strode toward her while she cowered and backed away in terror to avoid more torture. Grabbing her hair once again, he dragged her across the floor to the edge of the bed. Sitting down and spreading his legs, he pulled up her face—now a battered mess of blood and tears—and leaned in close to her mouth, speaking in a chilling whisper.
“State your offense with your own mouth. I’m listening,” he said, using his finger to dab at the blood smeared around her lips.
“I… I was hungry,” she choked out, even though she knew he was fully aware, having locked the kitchen as part of his calculated punishment. “And I’ve been down with a fever since yesterday… it’s been days since I last had any food…”
Verbal Abuse and Cold Cruelty
“Ssshhh!” he cut her off, closing his eyes briefly before glaring at her with utter disgust. “And is that why you decided to lie down and sleep without finishing the car wash chore I assigned to you? You witch! Despite all the food I bring into this house, you do nothing but eat like a donkey! Oh, speaking of donkeys—a street donkey, a woman for all men, fat in front and fat at the back! You are completely useless, a woman without lineage. All you do is eat, pass heavy waste, and fill up my septic tank with stench, right? Is that the only reason you married me?”
He pointed an accusing finger at her, poking her head forcefully. “Listen to me: I married a servant, not a wife! You MUST lose this ugly fat of yours. I won’t build a body for another man to enjoy. Even if you walk around naked all day, you don’t attract me at all, so you must shed this weight! Hahaha!” He let out a brief, bitter three-word laugh.
“I swear to God, since you ruined the joy of my life, we will both suffer in this house. Neither of us will get what we want! You hypocrite—pious on the outside, but a Pharaoh at heart!” He shoved her brutally onto the floor. “Ugly pig! Obsessive, multi-faced witch!”
Solitude, Reflection, and Pain
He stormed out of the bedroom, and moments later, the roar of his car engine signaled his departure from the house. She collapsed onto the tiled floor, hot tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Is it a crime in our world to be an obedient wife? Is it a crime to keep a pure heart and love genuinely? Has it become a sin to open up one’s soul?”
Overwhelmed by regret over her life’s misfortune, she struggled to her feet, dragging her aching, bruised body into the bathroom. She let the hot water shower over her to soothe the painful contusions. Upon stepping out, she applied warming oil all over her bruised skin. Despite knowing the harsh consequences if he returned to find his chores undone, her exhausted body collapsed back onto the bed for a second time…
