“Continue approaching everything slowly. One day, love will also approach you quietly before taking complete control of your heart.”
Rashid became furious.
“Ma’aruf, I swear I will deal with you,” he threatened. “Why are you directing this foolish romantic conversation towards me?”
He continued angrily:
“You should understand that there is no young woman I currently recognise as a potential romantic partner.”
“Whenever I look at women, I simply see human beings wearing women’s clothing. Nothing more.”
Ma’aruf Responds With Another Joke
Ma’aruf was not frightened by Rashid’s threat.
Instead, he laughed and replied:
“You should threaten my mother rather than my father. My mother is your age-mate, but my father certainly is not.”
His response turned Rashid’s angry threat into another humorous exchange between the young men.
