Akan Social Media Book 1 Complete Hausa Novel
The sound of a new message arriving on her phone startled her.
She suddenly sat upright and picked up the phone.
The name displayed on the screen was the contact she had saved as “My One.”
She hissed softly as a few tears rolled down her face.
Lowering her head onto her knees, she began sobbing uncontrollably.
Farry Finds Fadila Crying
At that moment, a young woman entered the house.
She was dark-skinned, of average height and naturally beautiful.
She looked at Fadila and asked:
“Fadila, what has put you in this condition? I have been greeting you repeatedly since I came in, yet you are sitting here without even answering me.”
Fadila wiped away her tears and raised her eyes towards her.
In a tearful voice filled with regret, she said:
“Farry, I am in serious trouble. I have entered a situation that has completely destroyed me.”
Farry sat down and looked at her with deep concern.
She said:
“Fadila, what happened? Please stop saying things like that. You know that everything belongs to Allah, and whatever happens to you should be handed over to Him.”
Fadila Confesses Her Regret
Fadila wiped her tears again and looked at Farry.
She said:
“Farry, I have wronged myself. I have betrayed my husband, my parents and practically my entire life.”
Farry immediately held her hand.
She said:
“Look, Fadila. If you are not going to tell me what is troubling you, wallahi, I am going to leave.”
Fadila lowered her eyes towards the floor.
Then she stood up and turned her back towards Farry.
She said:
“Farry, even before I got married, I had been chatting with a man named Adnan.”
Farry immediately interrupted:
“The same Adnan I know?”
Fadila replied:
“Yes, Farry. The same one.”
Fadila and Adnan’s Online Relationship
Fadila continued:
“We started chatting back when we were using 2go and Facebook. Later, we moved to WhatsApp, then IMO, and eventually we began making video calls.”
She paused briefly before continuing.
“Adnan became the person I always talked to online. Whenever I did not see him, I felt as though I could not do anything.”
“Gradually, he began influencing me during our video calls. He would persuade me to remove my clothes, and he would do the same. Most of our conversations became sexually explicit.”
Her crying overwhelmed her again.
She stopped for a moment, then continued speaking.
Marriage Did Not End the Secret Relationship
“Farry, all of this started before I got married. Now I have been married for an entire year, but I still have not been able to stop.”
“Any day I fail to make a video call with Adnan, I feel as though I am going to die.”
“Sometimes I lock myself inside a room and cry until morning.”
“I have a husband, yet I do not even allow us to sleep in the same room.”
“My phone is protected with security codes everywhere.”
Fadila returned to her seat and looked directly at Farry, who was staring at her with her mouth slightly open in disbelief.
Fadila pleaded:
“Farry, I can’t continue like this. Please help me. I want to stop. Please.”
Farry Is Shocked by Fadila’s Confession
Farry held Fadila’s hand while tears also began flowing from her own eyes.
She said:
“Fadila! Please tell me I am dreaming and that none of this is real.”
Fadila replied:
“Wallahi, Farida, that is the complete truth. Please help me.”
Meanwhile, Rashida Meets Sani
“Rashida.”
She raised her head and looked at the person calling her.
In a rude and dismissive voice, she answered:
“Yes! What is your problem?”
The young man smiled slightly and said:
“I have been following you since we left school. You knew I was there and you saw me, but you simply came out and ignored me.”
Rashida burst into loud laughter.
She looked at him from head to toe and said:
“Chabb! Wallahi, I will never marry you. Listen, I don’t even love you.”
“Look at yourself. You are not even handsome, and you do not even have a decent car to drive.”
“I want a handsome man—someone wealthy and someone who owns a good car. Yes!”
Rashida hissed at him and walked past him.
She entered her house and locked the door behind her.
The young man, whose name was Sani, simply shook his head and continued on his way home.
Back to Fadila
Farry held Fadila’s hand tightly while Fadila’s entire body trembled.
Farry said:
“Please calm down. I am in a hurry right now, but In Shaa Allah, I will come back and we will talk properly. Do not tell anyone about this yet.”
Fadila nodded while wiping away her tears.
Farry stood up and left the house.
Another Message From Adnan Arrives
Almost immediately, Fadila’s phone began making another sound.
Once again, it was a text message from Adnan.
She stretched out her hand towards the phone, unsure whether she should pick it up or leave it alone.
The moment she finally picked it up, Adnan began calling her.
Fadila became completely overwhelmed with fear and confusion.
She quickly placed the phone face-down and turned away from it.
Then she continued crying.
