The term Odu Ifa refers to the sacred verses that form the core of the Ifa religion's divination system. These verses contain the wisdom passed down from the Orisa (gods) and play a vital role in interpreting the messages during divination ceremonies.
There are 256 Odu, each containing specific verses and interpretations, which serve as a profound source of spiritual knowledge. These Odu are divided into two categories.
