PO2 Warsen, David John, 27 years old, grew up in KENTWOOD, MI and served as Active Duty in the NAVY with SEAL TEAM THREE during Operation Enduring Freedom.
He did not survive OEF. The NAVY recorded his death on August 16, 2012 in KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN, from HOSTILE.
In the final years of OEF, a surge had been deployed and drawn down. The Taliban had outlasted every strategy. The Afghan army the US built would collapse six years after OEF ended.
