Allan Kendall Walker was a 28-year-old staff sergeant from Palmdale, California. He served with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, based at Camp Pendleton, California.
Walker died on April 6, 2004, in Iraq's Al Anbar Province. According to the Department of Defense, he was killed by hostile fire. The Marine Corps did not release specific details of the engagement, but his death occurred during a period of intense combat operations in the region.
