Smith, Michael James was 24 and from MEDIA, PA when he joined the Active Duty, ARMY, C COMPANY, 1ST BATTALION, 503D INFANTRY, (1ST MEF), FORT CARSON, CO as SPC. Operation Iraqi Freedom would take his life.
He did not survive OIF. The ARMY recorded his death on January 11, 2005 in AR RAMADI, IRAQ, from HOSTILE.
