SGT Rai, Barun, 24 years old, grew up in SILVER SPRING, MD and served as Active Duty in the ARMY with FSC, 54TH ENGINEER BATTALION, 18TH ENGINEER BRIGADE, BAMBERG, GERMANY during Operation Enduring Freedom.
He did not survive OEF. The ARMY recorded his death on August 3, 2011 in FOB SHANK, AFGHANISTAN.
