Daniel Frederick Mehringer, 20, of Morgantown, West Virginia, was a U.S. Army corporal serving with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was killed in action on April 27, 2007, in Bagram, Afghanistan.

Daniel Frederick Mehringer was from Morgantown, West Virginia. He enlisted in the United States Army and was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) of the 82nd Airborne Division, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
