Philip Daine Mcgeath was a 25-year-old Marine from Glendale, Arizona. He served with the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, part of Regimental Combat Team 6, 2nd Marine Division, based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. His service included deployments to Afghanistan, the Philippines, and the Horn of Africa.
