David Anthony Jefferson was a 23-year-old soldier from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
