Bradley Charles Hart was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. A native of Perrysburg, Ohio, he was 25 years old and served with the Headquarters element of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. His service reportedly included deployments to Afghanistan, the Philippines, and the Horn of Africa region.
Hart died on February 17, 2011, at Camp Lemonnier, a U.S. naval expeditionary base in Djibouti. The Department of Defense announced his death the following day, stating he was killed in action. According to subsequent reports, he was shot by a fellow service member in an incident that was under investigation.
His death occurred under the umbrella of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
