Ghufran Warasna

Ghufran Warasna was a Palestinian journalist reporting from the West Bank. She worked for the Quds News Network, a Palestinian news agency, covering events in the Jenin area.

On July 25, 2022, Warasna was shot and killed in Jenin. According to reports, she was struck by gunfire during an Israeli military raid in the city's refugee camp. The Committee to Protect Journalists documented her death.

The incident occurred during a period of heightened violence in the West Bank. Israeli military operations in Jenin, often targeting Palestinian militant groups, were frequent throughout 2022, leading to numerous Palestinian and Israeli casualties.
