Dustin James Feldhaus was a 20-year-old soldier from Peoria, Arizona. He served as a Specialist in the U.S. Army with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, based out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
According to the Department of Defense, Specialist Feldhaus died on March 29, 2011, at Bagram Airfield in Parwan province, Afghanistan. He was reportedly killed by indirect enemy fire, a term the military uses for incoming mortar or rocket attacks.
