The Sudan Civil War is an ongoing armed conflict that began on April 15, 2023. It is primarily fought between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). According to United Nations reporting in late 2024, the conflict had resulted in over 150,000 deaths. Fighting has been concentrated in the capital Khartoum and the Darfur region.
