Julian Lee Berisford was a 25-year-old soldier from Benwood, West Virginia. He served as a Specialist in the U.S. Army, assigned to Company C, 3rd Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment, part of the 4th Brigade Combat Team based at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
