Ahmad Soltani

Ahmad Soltani was a child from Minab, a city in Iran's southern Hormozgan province. He was a student at the Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School.

On the morning of February 28, 2026, the school building was struck by at least one missile. Ahmad was killed in the attack. He was among dozens of children who died that day. Official casualty lists name at least 25 boys, including Ahmad, among the 61 documented fatalities.

The strike occurred during a period of heightened regional military activity in early 2026. The attack on Minab was part of a series of reported cross-border strikes and counter-strikes involving Iran and neighboring states.

Iranian state media reported the incident and published images of the destroyed school. The attack prompted official statements of condemnation from Iranian authorities and local mourning ceremonies in Hormozgan province.

Ahmad Soltani is memorialized on official lists of victims from the Minab school strike. His name, alongside those of other children killed, was read in commemorations held in the city.
