Master Sergeant Danial Ronald Adams was a 35-year-old U.S. Army Special Forces soldier from Portland, Oregon. He was assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), based in Boeblingen, Germany. His service included deployments to Afghanistan, the Philippines, and the Horn of Africa.
