Jummala Dillaliya Book 1 Complete Hausa Novel
“Tsamiya, mother of bitterness! At least this situation is better. By Allah’s grace, Ta Fita Kunya has been saved from embarrassment. As for our own issue, just settle it for us,” Abba said with a cheerful expression on his face.
Dillaliya was sitting on a chair with a face that looked as though she had never smiled in her entire life.
She raised her hand towards him and said:
“Tell me what brought you here before I unleash my anger on you.”
“Calm down, Ta Fita Kunya. Madam is not around anyway,” Abba replied.
He dropped a key for her and left.
Dillaliya called the people working for her, handed them the key and explained the job she wanted them to carry out.
Dillaliya Sends Her Workers to Abba’s House
They took a vehicle meant for carrying goods and headed straight to Abba’s house.
When they arrived, they went directly into the bedroom and carried away five entire boxes.
They removed the curtains and the carpet as well.
They even took Abba’s motorcycle before leaving the neighbourhood.
Dillaliya opened the boxes one after another and began counting the items inside.
She soon discovered that two pieces of lace fabric were missing.
Immediately, she began exclaiming in shock and cursing Abba.
One of her workers said:
“Ta Fita Kunya, we even brought his motorcycle along because of security.”
Dillaliya opened her mouth wide in reaction, loosened the wrapper tied around her arm, and dismissed the workers.
Abba and His Wife Return Home
At Abba’s house, he and his wife returned together so that no one would become suspicious.
As soon as they entered the house, his wife began crying out in shock with tears streaming down her face.
She rushed straight to the bedroom.
There were no boxes.
There was no carpet.
There were no curtains.
She called her husband while crying and showed him the empty room.
Abba did not know what to think anymore.
His motorcycle was also missing, and he was completely certain that Dillaliya was responsible for everything.
The bride was crying, and the groom was also crying.
Together, they filled the entire house with their loud wailing.
Abba’s greatest concern, however, was his motorcycle.
He was certain that even if he died and came back to life, Dillaliya would never willingly return his motorcycle to him.
His bride, on the other hand, was crying over her wedding gifts.
The neighbours eventually heard the excessive shouting and came over to see what was happening.
They pulled Abba aside while the women comforted the bride until she finally stopped crying.
Abba Goes to Beg Dillaliya
Two days later, Abba prepared himself and went to Dillaliya’s house.
The moment she saw him, Dillaliya tightened her face and pulled her headscarf forward over her forehead.
Abba immediately began praising her with flattering words:
“May Allah help the crow that treats another person’s child like its own. You are the protector of young men and women. There is no one like you, Hajiya. Allah’s blessings are before you and behind you.”
Dillaliya raised her hand towards him and said:
“Be quick and say whatever you came to say. I am about to go out.”
With a pleading expression, Abba said:
“Please, for Allah’s sake, help me and give me back my motorcycle.”
Dillaliya Gives Abba Her Condition
Dillaliya replied:
“Among the things I gave you, two pieces of lace are missing. Their value is one hundred and twenty thousand naira. If you want your motorcycle back, go and bring me the money for my missing goods, then you can take your motorcycle.”
As soon as she finished speaking, she picked up her handbag, placed it over her shoulder and walked out.
