Serving as LCPL Haerter, Jordan Christian, from SAG HARBOR, NY, at age 19, with 1ST BN, 9TH MAR, (RCT-1, I MEF FWD), 2D MAR DIV, CAMP LEJEUNE, NC, he went to Iraq with the MARINE CORPS. He did not come home.
On April 22, 2008, the MARINE CORPS lost LCPL Haerter, Jordan Christian in CAMP RAMADI, IRAQ. He was 19. The MARINE CORPS recorded the cause as HOSTILE.
