Esra Zakeri

Esra Zakeri was a nine-year-old girl who lived in the port city of Minab in Iran's southern Hormozgan province. She was a student at the Shajareh Tayyebeh school, a local educational institution.

On the morning of 28 February 2026, a missile struck the Shajareh Tayyebeh school building. Esra Zakeri was killed in the attack. According to documented casualty lists, her death occurred alongside that of six-year-old Salma Zakeri, who is widely reported to have been her sister.
