Ehsan Saleminia

Ehsan Saleminia was a six-year-old boy from Minab, a city in Iran's southern Hormozgan province. His name, in Persian, means goodness or kindness. He was of an age to be in his first year of primary school.

On the morning of February 28, 2026, Ehsan was present at the Shajareh Tayyebeh school. According to reports, the school building was struck by a missile during an attack. The strike killed Ehsan and several other children and adults at the site.

The attack occurred during a period of heightened regional military activity in early 2026. Multiple armed groups operate in the broader region, and cross-border strikes were reported.
