Chanawongse, Kemaphoom Ahn was 22 and from WATERFORD, CT when he joined the Active Duty, MARINE CORPS, 2D AABN, 2D MARDIV, CAMP LEJEUNE, NC as CPL. Operation Iraqi Freedom would take his life.

He did not survive OIF. The MARINE CORPS recorded his death on March 23, 2003 in AN NASIRIYAH, IRAQ, from HOSTILE.
