LCPL Blanton, Jeffery Steven, 23 years old, grew up in FAYETTEVILLE, GA and served as Active Duty in the MARINE CORPS with C CO, 1ST BN, 3D MAR, (RCT-1, 1ST MAR DIV), 3D MAR DIV, KANEOHE BAY, HI during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He did not survive OIF. The MARINE CORPS recorded his death on December 12, 2004 in FALLUJAH, IRAQ, from HOSTILE.
