Their Story

Mohammadian Bahrami was 17 years old at the time of his death on 28 February 2026. He was killed when US missiles struck the Shajareh Tayyebeh (The Good Tree) primary school in Minab, Hormozgan province, southern Iran, during the opening hours of the US-Israeli military offensive against Iran. At 17, he was among the oldest of the younger individuals killed in the strike, and may have been a student at a higher grade, a family member present at the scene, or a young person who had come to the school following news of the initial impact.

His name appears on the verified list of 61 victims published by Middle East Eye on 4 March 2026. The list was compiled from Iran's Gymnastics Federation records, a handwritten casualty list, and the Tasnim news agency.

The strike killed at least 165 people in total. Investigations by multiple international outlets and eight independent munitions experts concluded the US military was most likely responsible, with missile debris identified as consistent with a Tomahawk cruise missile. Human Rights Watch called for a war-crimes investigation.
