DMCA Policy

At BODE Oracle, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have adopted the following policy concerning copyright infringement on our website.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content on BODE Oracle (https://bode.ng) infringes on your copyright or the copyright of a third party, you may submit a notification of claimed copyright infringement in accordance with the DMCA.

To do so, please provide the following information to our designated Copyright Agent:

- The URL or location of the infringing material on our website that you want removed.


- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.


- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.


- Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly investigate the claim and take appropriate action, including removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

2. Counter-Notification Process

If your material has been removed due to a DMCA takedown notice and you believe this removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification of the material, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

- Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.


- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.


- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief** that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.


- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if you are located outside of Nigeria, for any judicial district in which BODE Oracle may be found.


- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of such person.


- Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will notify the original complainant and may reinstate the removed material unless the complainant files a legal action seeking a court order against the alleged infringer within 10 business days.

3. Repeat Infringers

BODE Oracle has a policy to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright law, where appropriate. If you are found to repeatedly infringe copyrights, your access to our website and services may be permanently terminated.

4. False Claims

Please note that under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly submits false information in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer or BODE Oracle.

Therefore, please be careful before submitting a DMCA notice or counter-notice.

5. Modifications to This Policy

BODE Oracle reserves the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
